Following one’s passion is something Jo Neser knows all about. Having worked most of his career as a commercial lawyer, in 2021 Jo traded the corporate world for the great outdoors. Today, he runs a successful farm called Waterleliefontein with his wife Tessa. Driven by his love for nature, and uplifting the communities that live in it, he is one of South Africa’s finest producers of olive oil.

With a life-long love for the outdoors, and particularly for veld plants and flowers, Jo understands the importance of staying in tune with nature. It’s this understanding that has resulted in his farm producing one of the country’s finest olive oils. But for Jo, people are equally important. So, while he continues building on the legacy of his farm, he also pours his efforts into uplifting the surrounding community. In this way, everyone can share his love for nature.
